It has been a busy couple of months with our new students being welcomed to the course and returning students getting their teeth back into their studies.
Here are a few highlights...
BRISTOL PHOTO FESTIVAL 2024
The 2nd edition of the festival launched this month featuring a range of increadilbe shows, events and talks accross the city (bristolphotofestival.org).
We are an official partner of the festival and have been involved in the opening weekend;

This weekend (19th - 20th October) was BOP - the photobook event organised by the festival and the Martin Parr Foundation - featuring publishers from accross the country including our recent graduates showcasing their own books.
FIRST YEARS GET STUCK IN!
We hit the ground running, getting our new students to start making images right away and responding to a series of short challenges.
In one of these, we give them 3 hours and a camera to attempt to recreate iconic images by Tim Walker and Arielle Bobb-Willis.
We showcase the responses on our Instagram channel and were delighted to see them being reposted by Arielle - good exposure in theire first few weeks!

GRAUDATE SUCCESS
Our most recent graduates continue to build momentum following their degree shows.
Will Barber and Amelia Ashby were finalists in the South West Graduate Prize 2024, recently attending their exhibition in London.

...and Africa Barrero-Alexander continues to get exposure on their poignant final project 'This Body Was Carved From Stone' including exhibitions in London, numerous accolades in competitions and a recent feature in Photoworks magazine:
